Good times and goog music in Latinoamérica

I personally think that latin american music, specifically rock-pop music, such as the group “Los Prisioneros”, “Soda Stereo” or “Los Enanitos Verdes” and also other groups like “Calle 13”, “Molotov” and others, have had power to move people with their criticism.

“Los Prisioneros” was a group from Chile (1983-2006) conformed by Jorge González (voice and bass), Claudio Narea (guitar) and Miguel Tapia (drumss). They had specific characteristics that made them famous at a national and international way. Also in their music they transmit a political message, for example, with the song “¿Por qué no se van?”

Si aquí tu genio y talento no da fama
Si tu apellido no es Gonzáles ni Tapia

Por qué no te vas
Por qué no se van
No se van del país
Por qué no se van

The group "Los prisioneros" use instruments that are representative from rock-pop music such as guitar, drum set, bass and voice. They criticize people of the country saying that the European culture is more rich than their own. How people judge others because of the cloth, the not understanding of the “indios” about their talents or being an artist, and the people criticize the politics and economics of Chile but they don’t do anything to change. So, why they do not leave the country? If they do not like how these country works, instead of criticizing and do not make something, why they do not leave the country?

As already said the group “Calle 13” that is a mix of “rap rock” and “rap fusión” from Puerto Rico has a song call “Latinoamerica”. In that song not only they talked about the latinamerican identity but also the rhythms that were use represent this identity. They use maraca, guitar, sticks hit the lateral and central part of a drum (tambora) making an andian sound, that is very representative of many latinamarican countries. The images in the video are showing the beautiful this part of the world have. Not only landscapes, as an evidence the verity we have ecosystems, but also people in their daily life, child’s playing, people working and more things.

I really like Calle 13, I love them. They have a vierity of good songs and I really recommend you to listeng thise songs:"El Aguante " , "Adentro"  , "Muerte en Hawaii ", "La vida (Respira el Momento)" , "La Vuelta al Mundo" , "Ojos Color Sol ""Así de grandes son las ideas"  and "Me Vieron Cruzar"
